Chris McCormick is the debut author of Desert Boys, out from Picador. His essays and stories have appeared in The AtlanticTin HousePloughshares, and The Offing. He teaches at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where he earned his MFA and won two Hopwood Awards. He’s at work on his second book, a novel.
