Neelanjana Banerjee is incorrect when she states that Kathryn Ma's book is the first by an Asian American to win the Iowa Award. That good fortune belongs to TICKET TO MINTO: Stories of India and America, written by me (Sohrab Homi Fracis, www.fracis.com). The error is repeated by Banerjee in her Hyphen review, and by Ma herself on Sandip Roy's New America Now interview. This comment is not meant to detract from her achievement, but just to set the record straight.
