Week Two of our Fall Fundraiser is Underway

We believe one simple thing: Fiction Matters! If you do, too, we hope you'll consider supporting us.

Thanksgiving may be over, but we’ll always be thankful for writers and readers. And for the last seven years we’ve done our best to honor both by helping foster a conversation about fiction and the writing life here on Fiction Writers Review.

In particular, we do our best to promote and support the work of emerging writers, as well as those titles by indie presses that might not get attention elsewhere. We believe (as we hope you do!) that this helps enrich the literary discussion about books and writing.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we also partner with other non-profit organizations to host community events and literary initiatives, such as the November Write-a-thon on the University of Michigan’s campus, the New Europe from Literature Festival in New York City, the Sozopol Fiction Seminars in Bulgaria, and the Voices of the Middle West festival in Ann Arbor.

If you believe fiction matters, as we do, we hope you’ll consider supporting us. We truly think of FWR as a family, one made up of our readers, contributors, authors, and editors. Our belief in this community and its support of our work has kept us going since 2008, and we hope to continue long into the future.

Please join us our 2015 campaign from November 23 to December 11 and Donate Here.

Truly ANY donation is appreciated. Some of our supporters can only give $5 or $10 (think of it as buying us a cup of coffee or a drink). But for those of you who can give a bit extra:

    Everything

  • Anyone who donates $50 or more will receive a signed copy of Celeste Ng’s New York Times bestsellling novel Everything I Never Told You. Celeste was one of FWR’s original contributors and helped bring FWR into being, so we’re thrilled by this book’s success and happy to share it with you.
  • The first 10 individuals who donate more than $100 will receive a numbered, limited-edition copy of Nicholas Delbanco’s 1979 story “Composition,” hand-set, letterpressed, and bound by Fritz Swanson of Wolverine Press.
  • We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so all donations are tax-deductable.
