Benjamin Percy is the author of the novel The Wilding and two books of short stories, Refresh, Refresh and The Language of Elk. His second novel, Red Moon, is forthcoming from Grand Central/Hachette in 2012. Percy teaches creative writing (fiction and nonfiction) in the MFA program at Iowa State University and is also a faculty member at the Low-Res MFA program at Pacific University. His honors include a Whiting Award, the Plimpton Prize, a Pushcart Prize, and inclusion in Best American Short Stories.
