Sharon Solwitz has published two novels and a story collection. A new novel, Abracadabra, won the Christian Doheny Prize from the Center for Fiction. Her stories and essays have appeared in New England Review, Tikkun, The Mississippi Review, Ploughshares, American Short Fiction, and many others. Reprinted, her work can be found in creative writing textbooks, in Best American Short Stories, and the Pushcart Prize Anthology. Solwitz teaches fiction writing at Purdue University and lives in Chicago with her husband, the poet Barry Silesky.
