Daisy Alpert Florin’s essays have appeared in Full Grown People, Motherwell, Kveller and Under the Gum Tree, among other publications. Her essay “Crash” was listed as a notable essay in The Best American Essays 2016. She is a recipient of the Kathryn Gurfein Writing Fellowship at Sarah Lawrence College and was a fellow in the BookEnds mentorship program. She is currently working on her first novel.
