“I think influence is everywhere, right? We are influenced by places, people, what we overhear, what we see, what we do and what is done to us, various states of being.”
Marta Rose lives in Philadelphia with her wife Julie and their two children. A recent graduate of the Warren Wilson MFA Program for Writers, she teaches writing at Philadelphia University and is working on a novel set in the Germantown and Kensington neighborhoods of Philadelphia.
