Liam Callanan is the author of the novels The Cloud Atlas and All Saints. His newest book is Listen & Other Stories. Formerly chair of the English department at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and head of its doctoral program in creative writing, Callanan has also taught at the Warren Wilson MFA Program for Writers. He has also written a wide range of nonfiction – including pieces on chasing Ludwig Bemelmans around Paris, Percy Jackson around Greece, and fame as a game show judge in China – for a variety of outlets, including the New York Times, Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle and the Wall Street Journal.
