J. Alison Rosenblitt is Senior College Lecturer in Ancient History / Director of Studies in Classics at Regent’s Park College, University of Oxford. The Beauty of Living: E.E. Cummings in the Great War (W.W. Norton, 2020) is her third book overall, and her first book for a general audience. She trained as an ancient historian, and came to study E.E. Cummings via Cummings’ pleasingly provocative and disobedient relationship with the classical world.
