Tom Toro is a cartoonist and writer whose work has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, Harvard Business Review, The New Haven Review, Narrative, and Audubon, among others. His debut memoir and cartoon collection about breaking into The New Yorker while battling depression will be out from Dock Street Press in 2017. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Tom now lives in Kansas City, Missouri with his wife, kid, and cat.
